This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed and or handled by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
We treat your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)
1. Who are we?
Two 10 Casting is an employment agency in accordance with the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
We provide supporting artists for film and television projects across the UK. Our contact details are: artists@two10casting.com. Please contact this email address for all data collection enquiries / queries, quoting Security & Privacy Enquiries.
We have a relationship with the independent company ENTERTAINMENT PARTNERS UK - Referred to going forward as “EP”.
2. The purpose(s) of handling your personal data
We use your personal data for the following purpose:
We will use your personal information only for purposes relating to your contract with us (including in relation to your engagement for a Role), or as agreed by you, or as permitted by law.
From time to time we will get in touch regarding role/work opportunities.
3. Type of data that is handled:
Via our relationship with EP, we have access to view and contact artists with EP casting portal profiles. We use the information the artist has provided to EP on the creation of their artist profile. Per the EP/Agent terms - Both EP and Two 10 Casting act as a data controller.
Any information you provide to us via the EP platform is stored and controlled by EP.
We handle the following categories of your data:
- name, telephone, email address. We handle this data so that we can contact you about possible jobs.
- data such as measurements, skills, experience & photos of you. This information is used during our casting process.
5. Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential.
*We will never sell or share your details with a third party organisation for marketing purposes.
* The data we use / you provide to us is solely used for the purpose of Casting.
* By agreeing to the Two 10 Casting Terms and conditions you consent to us sharing your personal information with Production Companies, as required in respect of a Role / for the purpose of casting. For example a production company will have your name and mobile number so that they can communicate with you regarding booked work.
* Two 10 Casting employees have access to and use your data in order to cast you for upcoming jobs.
6. How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary.
How long we retain your data depends on whether you have worked on a production through Two 10 Casting.
* Two 10 Casting will retain your data for up to 3 years.
*EP are responsible for the longevity of personal data stored within the EP casting portal. If you have any questions regarding this please check out EP’s privacy notice and Artist terms.
7. Providing us with your personal data
You have willingly provided us with your personal data via your EP profile, via answers to enquiries/messages sent to you from us through the EP casting portal, and in line with the current EP Artist terms.
8. Your rights and your personal data
Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
· The right to request your personal data is erased.
· The right to request a copy of the personal data which we hold about you
· The right to request that we correct any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date
· The right to request that we provide you with your personal data and where possible, to transmit that data directly to another data controller, (known as the right to data portability), (where applicable i.e. where the processing is based on consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject and where the data controller processes the data by automated means);
· The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, to request a restriction is placed on further processing;
· The right to object to the processing of personal data, (where applicable i.e. where processing is based on legitimate interests (or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority); direct marketing and processing for the purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics).
9. Transfer of Data Abroad
Personal information comprising your details may be accessed through EP by third parties outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). This could happen in the rare instance that a production or crew member reviews your details where the production or crew member is based outside the EEA.
10. Other Website Links
The Two 10 Casting website may at certain times contain links to other websites. If you access these links (and leave our website), please note we do not have any control over that other website. We cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites as such sites are not governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Website Analytics
. When you access Two 10 Casting we will automatically log your IP address. We generally only use IP addresses to analyse demographic and traffic information for statistical analysis.
12. Changes to our privacy policy

13. How to make a complaint

If this does not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office (www.ico.org.uk) or at the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, England.
14. Opting out
Two 10 Casting do not currently hold/store/collate a MAILING LIST that you can opt in or out of. All details held in previous mailing lists (accessible through our website) have been safely and permanently deleted.
If you wish for your information to be removed from our view on the EP casting portal, you must contact EP directly who will be able to deactivate your artist profile. Email: ukartistsupport@ep.com.
